Windows Phone 7 Video Player (for consuming a Media RSS exposed by our Smooth Streaming Video Player plugin for WordPress)

This project contains all the source of an application for Windows Phone 7 to consume an RSS Media exposed by our Smooth Streaming Video Player plugin for WordPress (http://smooth.codeplex.com).

Main features

  • List of videos exposed by Media RSS which is coming from our plugin Smooth Streaming Video Player for WordPress : http://smooth.codeplex.com
  • Detail of a selected video in the list
  • Play of the video inside the generic SMF 2.3 Player for Windows Phone : http://smf.codeplex.com
  • Automatic cache management (using the Isolated Storage) with possibility to manually force the update of this cache

Next developpment steps

  • Set more XAML styles to simplify the visual customization of the application
  • Create a configuration class to centralize editable settings
